How to Earn the Global Seal of Biliteracy
We are excited that you want to certify and celebrate the acquisition of language skills with meaningful language credentials! Earning a Global Seal of Biliteracy™ is quick and easy. Simply apply, test, and receive. Best of all, both the application and the certificate are free! The Global Seal of Biliteracy does not cover the cost of testing.

Individual Applications:

APPLY
The application will let us know who you are and how we can best help you meet your language credentialing needs. You may fill out the application within a 12-month period before or after you have tested. Please review our qualifying tests and requirements before applying.
2. TEST
In order to receive your Global Seal of Biliteracy, we require documentation for the first language and qualifying test scores for the second language. If you have not yet tested we can recommend a language proficiency test, or if you have already tested you can submit results from one of our approved tests if the language test has already been taken. Candidates must meet the required criteria first/native and second language.
3. RECEIVE
Once we have received your application, candidate sheet, and qualifying test scores, candidates are eligible to receive their Global Seal of Biliteracy! The signed and sealed Global Seal of Biliteracy award certificates will be mailed to you, your school, organization or company for free!
Apply for the Global Seal of Biliteracy
To recognize you, your school or organization’s language learners with a Global Seal of Biliteracy, you will need to complete one of our application forms below. This process may be done before or after testing with an approved test. Once Global Seal has received the completed application, you will receive a confirmation email including the next steps.
